Collection needed to feel like more than another culture platform. The magazine had a strong instinct for music and design, but needed a clearer identity around that instinct.
The challenge was to build something with enough structure to be taken seriously, but still present the creativity it was founded on. Collection needed to function across all mediums, not just print.

210%
Increase in social following
80%
increase in site traffic
The strategy was to give the publication enough editorial control to feel selective, but not so much polish that it lost its grittier roots. It needed to feel close to music and contemporary culture without flattening them into lifestyle content

The approach
We treated collection like an editorial system, not just a logo or a layout. The work had to make space for different voices while still feeling like it came from the same space.
The direction leaned into strong typography, image-led pacing and a visual language that could move between raw documentation and more considered editorial meoments. It needed to feel designed, but not over-controlled.
